When we are aware of fearful beliefs, we may reset the mind. Rather than being distracted by a barrage of thoughts, we may focus our attention by meditating, allowing ideas to flow without judgment, attachment, or investment. We may observe rather than react to thoughts.
Our thoughts inspire action, offering insight into the experiences we are attracting. When we engage in a behavior without noticing, we may be confirming ideas that conflict with our desires. Seeking validation from a post, continually checking our progress, worrying, and attempting to change the course of events all promote a sense of separation. It confirms that things are not right without our direction. We teach ourselves that the ego must lead the way. If instead, we take note of our thoughts, feelings, and actions, we may overlook those that arise from fear, doubt, and control. We may return to a state of peace, joyful expectation, and trust. It is in the moments of awareness that we are empowered to deliberately create by returning our minds to love.
